PDF Document Publishing

Publish Content Foundry pages as professional PDF documents with infographic covers, headers, footers, typography control, table of contents, bookmarks, page numbers, watermarks, and password protection. All 100+ content blocks render in PDF alongside the full suite of core documentation blocks.

Transform your architecture documentation into professional PDF documents. The same Content Foundry pages that publish to your website can publish to PDF with full document design controls: infographic-powered covers, repeating headers and footers, per-element typography, and automatic navigation features. Every page, every block, every diagram renders in your PDF output.

Content Margins

Three margin presets control the space between your header, footer, and content:

Every Content Block Works in PDF

All 100+ specialist content blocks across 13 categories render in PDF output. Decision blocks, risk registers, test cases, operational runbooks, data dictionaries, architecture patterns, compliance requirements, and every other specialist block type. Plus all core documentation blocks: rich text, code with syntax highlighting, callouts, tables, steps, card grids, tabs, accordions, images, blockquotes, and more. The same pages that publish to your website can publish to PDF with no changes.

Report PDF Export

In addition to publishing Content Foundry pages, you can export all 16 governance reports as a PDF document. Report PDFs include the same design features as site PDFs (covers, headers, footers, page numbers, watermarks, bookmarks, table of contents, and password protection) plus document verification with a SHA-256 content hash, Git provenance, and an attached raw data file.

Open the export dialog from Reports > Export Report PDF in the menu bar, or search for Export Report PDF in the command palette.
