Infographic Covers

Design pixel-perfect front and back covers using the full infographic editor. Full-bleed pages with all icon libraries, shapes, rotation, grouping, visual effects, and the component library. Covers render at the full page size with no margins.

Repeating Headers and Footers

Create header and footer infographics that repeat on every content page. Design them with the same infographic tools as covers. Dimensions are automatically captured and content margins adjust to fit.

Per-Element Typography

Set font family, size, weight, line height, letter spacing, and colour independently for body text, each heading level (H1 through H6), and code blocks. Full typographic control for professional document appearance.

Page Breaks

Insert page break blocks anywhere in your content to force new pages. Visible as a dashed line in the editor, respected during PDF generation. Control exactly where content splits across pages.

Navigation Features

Three features work together to make PDF documents easy to navigate, whether viewed on screen or printed.

Table of Contents

Auto-generated from page headings with configurable depth (H1, H2, H3). Entries are clickable links that jump to the correct page. Multi-level styling with indented hierarchy and dot leaders.

PDF Bookmarks

Hierarchical bookmark sidebar built from your heading structure. H2 entries nest under preceding H1, H3 under H2. Collapsible navigation in any PDF viewer.

Page Numbers

Four format options: plain number, Page N, Page N of M, or dashes. Three positions: bottom-centre, bottom-right, bottom-left. Configurable starting number and colour.

Security and Compliance

Password Protection

Require a password before the PDF can be opened. Uses RC4-128 encryption. The password is stored locally and never transmitted. Suitable for confidential architecture documentation.

Watermarks

Overlay branded text on every page including covers. 30% opacity, 45-degree rotation, centre positioning. Common uses: DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, INTERNAL, or any custom text.

PDF Metadata

Set document title and author for PDF reader title bars and search indexing. Creator and producer fields are automatically set to NeoArc Studio.

Report PDF Export

In addition to publishing Content Foundry pages, all governance reports can be exported as PDF documents. Report PDFs include the same design features (covers, headers, footers, page numbers, watermarks, bookmarks, table of contents, password protection) plus document verification with a SHA-256 content hash, Git provenance metadata, and an attached raw data file for downstream processing.

Infographic Design System

A complete visual design system built into NeoArc Studio. Shapes across categories, interactive data visualisation shapes with configurator panels, a layers panel with z-order and visibility control, shape grouping and rotation, visual effects with blend modes, gradient fills, a reusable component library, and canvas presets from 16:9 widescreen to 300 DPI print resolution.
